Jim marriedGwendolonL. (Marks) Phelps on May 28, 1994. Jim worked as an IT specialist for the Salvation Army for more than 20 years. He was very intrigued bygenealogyand spent much time studying it. Jim is survived by his loving wife,Gwendolon, Marion, IN; son, Chad (David) Walsh-Phelps, Grand Rapids, MI; 3 step-sons, Paul (Polly) Scott, Anderson, IN, Arlen (Lorinda) Scott, Marion, IN, and Robert (Tricia) Scott, Muncie, IN;brother,Robert(Cheryl) Phelps, Marion, IN; sister, Kim (Doug) Winters, Marquette, MI; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the College ParkChapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion,Indiana.
