July 30, 1950 — August 16, 2018

Jack L. Jones, passed away peacefully on August16that his home in Gas City after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren. His passion was cars. He was a master mechanic in his garage at home after retiring from the GM Fort Wayne Assembly Plant. He enjoyed NASCAR, Kid Rock, and bingo. He served his country in the Army and was a member of theAmvetsand the American Legion. He will be sadly missed and forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind his wife, Anna. two sons, Jack L. Jones (Kim), Elwood and Ryan Bragg, Ft. Wayne, two daughters; AngelaChastain(David), Connecticut, and Gretchen Johnson (Todd), Fishers, five grandsons; Matthew, Mark, and LukeChastain, and A.J. andKahneJones, granddaughter,JuliannaJohnson, sister Joni Rich (Dave), Fairmount. brother, Jerry Jones (Brenda), ex wife, Kay Jones, and special friend Wayne Bragg and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his mother and father Kenneth and Ruth Jones (Fairmount) and brothers, James and Joseph Jones. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Graveside service for Jack will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana, with Military Rites and Pastor JeffLuedtkeofficiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County or the Fairmount Veterans Memorial in care of the funeral home.
