Harriet Ann Smalley

Harriet Ann (Heater) Smalley, 93, died April 7, 2018 with her family by her side in Sebring, Fla. She was born July 15, 1924 inFairmount, Indiana. She married Harold Smalley on June 7, 1941. Harriet and Harold travelled extensively across the United States with their children and grandchildren. In their retirement years, they spent their winters in Sebring, Florida, where they made many lifelong friendships with a wonderful group of people. Harriet will be lovingly remembered by her son, Rex (Betsy) Smalley, her siblings Wenda (David) Clement, her brothers Virgil (Florence) Heater and Eldon (Alice) Heater, her daughter-in-law Sylvia, her grandchildren Doug (Joanne) Langford, Ann (John) Langford Lowry, Todd, Chad (Misty), Brent, Eric (Courtney), Reid, and Clay.She will also be forever remembered by her great grandchildren Cody, Hunter and Kylie, and great-great grandchild Caiden. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Gladys (Rush) Heater, her husband Harold, her daughter Theda, and her sons Terry and Jerry. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home in Fairmount. The service in memory of Harriet will be held at 1:00 pm.Interment will follow at the family plotatKnox ChapelCemetery.
