Gregory L. Pollen 54 of Fairmount, Indiana died unexpectedlyFridayApril 26,2019at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana. Greg was born December 26,1964in Marion, Indiana to Dwight C Pollen who survives in Fairmount and the late Shirley R. (King) Pollen. He was a 1983graduate of Madison-Grant High School and an Army Veteran. He married Cindy Miller June 20,1989in Marion, Indiana. Greg worked at Lowes, Anderson as a delivery person since 2005 after Thomson Consumer Electrics closed in 2004 where had worked since 1989. He was an avid sports fan, playing baseball in high school and on local teams after graduation. He coached Little League and All-Stars in Fairmount for several years. He was a stand up guy and good family man. He loved to listen to music, play strategy video game, astronomy and taking walks. He loved being with his family, especially his dad who was his best friend. Greg issurvived by his wife, father and children, Griffin (Alannah) Pollen, Gas City, IN and Chelsea (Jeffrey) Wallace, Fairmount, IN. Sister; Deborah Pollen,Hanahan, SC brothers; Michael (Kelly) Pollen, Alexandria, IN and Kenneth (Karen) Pollen, Fairmount, fivegrandchildren Annabelle and Stella Wallace,Emileigh,EliannahPollen and Christine Hess. Mother-in-law Glenda Miller, Marion, IN Several nieces and nephews. Special companionWhinnie. He is preceded in death by his mother, father-in-law Ross Miller and brother-in-law Tony Miller.
