Glenna Carol Biven

Glenna Carol Biven, 87, passed away at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Glenna was born on April 27, 1936, to the late Clarence and Laura Thomason. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God and enjoyed driving around, talking with her family, and animals. She enjoyed writing poetry and playing Euchre and Scrabble. She loved being able to be a stay at home mom to her two daughters, Darlene and Janet, and she always enjoyed getting together at the holidays.

Glenna is survived by her daughters, Darlene Thomason, Marion, and Janet (Michael) Rhoades, Bloomington; special friend, Bobby Stratton; brother, Arthur "Jiggs" (Nona) Thomason; sister, Kay (Bob) Mauller; grandchildren, Amy and Michael Bragg and Madison Sloane; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Conner, Logan and Madie Bragg, and Henry Sloane; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Laura; brothers, Marvin and Wayne Thomason; sisters, Norma Adamson and Ramona (Gail) Lawson; and grandson, Jordan Rhoades.

Arrangements for Glenna have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. In accordance with Glenna's wishes, cremation will take place.
