Geraldine 'Jerri' B. Haynes

Geraldine Jerri B. Haynes, 79, of Fairmount, Indiana, passed away peacefullyThursday, March 17, 2016 at University Health Care in Upland. Geraldine was born August 26, 1936 inSummitville, Indiana one of sevenchildren born to the lateElbertBenson and the late Goldie Wiles Benson. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1954. Jerri Loved doing taxes. Sheworked for HR Block for 20 years. When sheretiredin 1984,sheowned and operated her owntax service from 1985 to 1996. She married Paul E. Haynes on March 12, 1971. Paul Survives in Fairmount along with her beloved Jack Russell, Daisy. Jerri also loved to read, knit andvisitwith her best friend Bea. Also surviving arefour children: Cindy (Randy) Cain, Indianapolis, Phil (Michelle) Johnson, Warsaw, IN, Brenda (Bob) Hughes, Ft. Wayne, IN and Robert Johnson, Marion, IN. Also Rick(Pam) Haynes and LanaBaylessboth of Fairmount, IN Sister,Marjorie (Kenneth)AimanFt. Meyers, FL, 15Grandchildren and 13Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and twosisters. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where the family will received friends on Monday, March 21, 2106 from 4-6 PM. Funeral Service willimmediately follow at 6.
