Gene Van "Brian" Crites

Gene Van "Brian" Crites, 54 lost his battle with cancer at home with his loving wife by his side on Thursday September 22, 2022. Brian was born in Marion, Indiana to Gene Crites and Jewel (Milam) Powers. He graduated from Mississinewa High School and immediately moved to Florida.

Brian worked construction while in Florida building houses. He loved being on the beach and the ocean. Brian loved fishing and Colts Football. On March 20, 2017 Brian married Tracy Evans.

In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his mother; brothers Chad Crites, Sweetser; Jon (Peggy) Crites, Windermere, FL; and nephew Travis Crites, Clermont, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father.

There will be no services but you may send memorial contributions to Cancer Services of Grant County in Brian's honor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
