Frank E. Brandon

Frank E Brandon, 77, of Fairmount, died, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Marion Health. Frank was born November 15, 1946 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Darrell W. and Laura Cleo (Devore) Brandon. He was a 1964 graduate of Marion High School and from Ball State University in 1972 with a Bachelor's degree in Business. Frank was employed by Grant Memorial Park Cemetery and American Mobile power in sales. He Served in the Army from 1967-1969 during the Vietnam War.

Frank enjoyed watching TV, basketball, and football. Before his health issues, Frank loved to play golf. He was a gifted artist and loved drawing and painting buildings and people. He was often seen roaming the streets of Fairmount on his golf cart, and he enjoyed the small-town living. Frank was a quiet man, but very pleasant to talk to. He liked foreign sports cars, and playing the lottery.

He is survived by his son, Frank "Chris" (Maritza) Brandon Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren, Erik, Andrew & Sophia Brandon; sister, Billee (Ron) McVay of Marion; two brothers, Woody "Darrell" (Yvonne) Brandon of Muncie; and James (Linda) Brandon, Marion; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana, where on Friday, December 15, 2023, the family will have family and friends from 4:30 P.M. - 5:30 P.M., with a funeral service with military honors beginning at 5:30 P.M.
