Frances Logan

Frances A. Logan, 83, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at Lutheran Hospital on September 23, 2024. She was born on August 25, 1941, to the late Bruce Ervin and Martha (Coatney) Ervin. She attended Brook Iroquois School and graduated in 1960. She then married the late Robert "Bob" Holloway on June 27, 1976 and he preceded her in passing.

Frances worked tirelessly in her roles as a hotel maid, custodian, and short order cook, always taking pride in her work and the care she gave to those around her. She was a woman of simple joys, finding happiness in crocheting, bead work, and solving puzzles. Frances devoted a lot of her time in Fairmount, serving in the city's Civil Defense. She attended Country Community Church and was a member of the First Christian Church in Gas City, where her kind spirit was evident to all who knew her.

On August 5, 2007, Frances married the love of her life, Don E. Logan. Their bond was unshakable, and her most cherished moments were spent by his side. Her favorite thing to do together was watch the ducks at the river.

Frances leaves behind her sons, Benjamin (Shannon) Ervin of Fairmount, William (Lizz) Ervin of Iowa; step-daughters, Bethany Logan of Marion, and Deborah Whitehurst of Marion; grandchildren, Mackenzie Ervin, Ligeia Ervin, Maryjane Ervin, Graeson Ervin, Raedyn Ervin, and Garrett Ervin; great-grandchildren, Raven and Hunter; siblings, Gerald (Edie) Ervin, Karen Mcafee, Norma Nichols, Sally (Brad) Boozer, and George (Cindy) Ervin.

She is preceded in her passing by her parents; late husbands, Robert "Bob" Holloway, Donald "Don" Logan; brother, Charles Ervin

Arrangements for Frances have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held at the College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western, Ave., Marion, IN 46953, Friday, September, 27, 2024 from 11-1pm. A service will follow the visitation. A burial will follow the service at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made out to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, to help the family purchase a monument for Frances.
