Evelyn M. Harriman, 93, entered the loving arms of herSavior on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Millers Merry Manor in Hope, Indiana. She was born on January 25, 1925, inGridley, California, to the late Hubert and AudreyMardock. She graduated from Cascade College in 1947, which is now called Seattle Pacific University. Evelyn married Harold Harriman on August 30, 1945 inGreenleaf, Idaho. They enjoyed 72 years of marriage, serving together through World Gospel Mission,for 39 years in Bolivia and 3 years in Paraguay. Evelyn will be missed by her husband, Harold; children, David (Karol) Harriman, Mandan, ND, Hubert (Sarah) Harriman, Upland, Dwight (Susan) Harriman, Livingston, MT, James Harriman, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, South America, and Melody (Daniel)Taube, Columbus, IN; sister-in-law, OliviaMardock,Newberg, OR; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Audrey; daughter-in-law, Pamela Harriman; brothers,Wendell andMarvinMardock; and sister-in-law(Wendells wife), OpalMardock. Arrangements for Evelyn have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Jones-Smith Chapel, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana, where a visitation will be held from9:30-11:00 a.m.onSaturday, May 5, 2018. A funeral service celebrating Evelyns life will follow at11:00 a.m.with Rev. DanielTaubeofficiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery in Upland. Contributions made in memory of Evelyn can be made to World Gospel Mission in care of the funeral home.
