Edna Jones

Edna P. (Gerber) Jones, 78, passed away peacefully at Twin City Nursing Home, in Gas City, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Edna was born on February 12, 1947, to the late Harry and Bertha Gerber, in Marion. She graduated from Mississinewa High School and was a waitress.

Edna loved being outdoors, she enjoyed fishing and gardening. She loved to be around water. Edna had a great love for her Boston Terrier, Brutus, and German Shepherd, Starsky. She loved spending time with her grandbabies. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by son, Duane Kellogg, Gas City; grandsons, Daniel Kellogg, Converse; and Andrew Kellogg, Jonesboro; great-granddaughter, Adaline Kellogg; sister, Liz Gerber, Pomona Park, FL; several nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Kellogg; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Arrangements for Edna were entrusted to the Mississinewa Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 200 North 7th Street, Gas City, Indiana 46933, there will be no services at this time. The family will have a gathering at a later date.
