She married Robert Story on April 21, 1956 in Marion, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2008. She has worked for 13 years for J.C. Penny Company. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church, Anderson, Indiana Survivors include 3 sons; Robert (Aneta) Taylor, Fairmount, Indiana Donald Taylor, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Jack (Patricia) Story, Fairmount, Indiana; 3 Sisters;Evelena(Clinton) Sellers,Bebee, Arkansas, Betty (Phil)Detamore, Marion, Indiana,LorineJoyner, Michigan, 1 Brother;LeRoy(Vivian) Betts,Larwell, Indiana; 6 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Dorthawas preceded in death by her sister, Verna Mae Betts, 2 brothers, Carl Betts and Charles Betts, and 2 Grandsons, Robbie Taylor and Tony Crump Funeral service forDorthawill be Friday, November 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana with Pastor GaryWoodringofficiating, Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
