Donita J. Banter

DonitaJ. Banter, 56, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 11, 1962, to Philip and the late LorettaGinter.Donitagraduated fromMississinewaHigh School in 1980. On November 18, 1994, she married Roger Banter, and he survives. Donitaenjoyed crocheting, walking, primitive camping, country music, shopping with her daughter (even though she hated shopping), and doing puzzles, especially those which were Thomas Kincaid pictures.Donitawas an inspiration. She was very strong and fought her battle with cancer courageously. She always put others before herself. Donitais survived by her husband, Roger, Van Buren; father and step-mother, Philip and Jane Hale; four children, Leonard King, II, Mack King, Jacob Banter, and Jessica Banter; four brothers, Gregory Adkins, Michael Adkins, Kevin (Angel) Adkins, and Timothy (Nancy) Hale; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, LorettaGinter; and brother, Philip Hale, Jr. Arrangements forDonitahave been entrusted to the College Park Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service celebratingDonitaslife will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Tim Cunningham officiating.
