Donald "Donnie" A. Ash Ii

Matthews: Donald "Donnie" Ash II, 32, died Tuesday afternoon, August 30, 2016, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in Oxford, Ohio, the son of Don and Barbara (Sells) Ash. Living in the Matthews area for most of his life, Donnie attended Eastbrook High School and in his earlier years, attended Epworth United Methodist Church, Matthews. Donnie was an Iron Worker and a member of the Iron Workers Union IW #846, Fort Wayne. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors and loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Don Barb Ash, Upland; a sister, Keona (Dustin) Parkison, Muncie; maternal grandmother, Bobby Jo Sells, Upland; paternal grandparents, Joan Wise, Lexington, and Donald Cindy Ash, Glenwood; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Gary Sells and paternal grandfather, Alvin Wise.
