Deborah L. Antrim, 64, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Wesleyan Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marion. Debbie was born on December 20, 1953, to Robert and the late Elizabeth Van Horn. She graduated fromBlackfordHigh School in 1972. She retired from General Motors after over 30 years of service and was a member of the Auxiliary Legion in Van Buren. Debbie married Harold Gene Antrim; he survives. Debbie enjoyed listening to Christian music, crocheting, gardening, and watching the Colts and Pacers. She was a hardworking woman who always gave her all in everything she did. She was a giver and made sure to give to others before herself, giving to every charity she could. A devout Christian, she dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She ran the food pantry, helped with Senior Saturdays at the Methodist Church, and also did missionary work in Jamaica. She was very family oriented and spending time with family on the water was where she was most at peace. She loved nature and fishing for Walleye at Lake Erie. She enjoyed the trips that she and Gene were able to take to Hawaii. Debbie was very honest and full of integrity. Her family will miss her immensely. Debbie is survived by her father, Robert, Hartford City; husband, Gene, Marion; three children,DietzSlagle, Marion, Nick Antrim, Ocean Springs, MS, andErrinAntrim-Wade,Kokomo; two daughters-in-law, JasmineWalker-Slagel, Marion, and BrianneDonnell, Ocean Springs, MS; brother, Eric (Jennifer) Van Horn, Hartford City; and six grandchildren, Lauren, Joshua, Kirsten,Breshaun, Brendan, andKameron. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth, and father-in-law, Paul Antrim. Arrangements for Debbie have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Debbies life will follow the visitation with Mother Abby Murphy officiating.
