David L. Kendall Jr., 49 passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 8:45 A.M. at
Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born to David and Janice (Dyer) Kendall on March 23, 1974 in Marion, Indiana.
After High School, David worked at Subway and security for Pinkerton Security. David was warm-hearted and sociable. He did not know a stranger. He and his mother had a very special bond and he loved her very much. He was very creative and loved to draw and was always whittling wood. He loved camping and fishing. David also enjoyed rooting for the Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Cowboys. He had a diverse set of interests, a deep sense of family, and an openness to connecting with others.
David is survived by his mother Janice, caregiver Jennifer Palmer, Aunts Vickie (Timothy) Sullivan, Aileen Jackson, Uncles Eugene Weaver, Doren Kendall, Gene Kendall, and Bob Kendall; cousins Gary Henry, Dean Henry, Michael Henry, Eric Dyer, Christine
Yackee, Justin Sullivan, Nick Barnett, and Michael Barnett, his beloved dogs Hondo, Murphy, and Snowball, and his pet squirrel Nuts. He was preceded in death by his father David Sr., and aunts Pauline Henry and Joyce Barnett.
Services for David have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 4601 South Western Avenue Marion, Indiana 46953. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a funeral following. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association PO Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
