David E. Leslie

David E. Leslie, 76, died, Sunday, May 14, 2023 at his Fairmount residence.

David was born on June 8, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA, son of the late William D. Allison and Alice M. (Gamon) Leslie and step-father Robert Leslie. He graduated from Northmont High School in Clayton, OH in 1965. David had worked as General Motors for 30 years. The last 16 as a fork lift driver. David was a project guy. He loved building things and could tackle any project. He loved the outdoors, bowling, and coffee. He married Vicki L. (Ringo) Leslie. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2020.

David is survived by three children, Ronald (Amy) Leslie, Brian Leslie, and Cheryl Underwood; siblings, Lenard Leslie, Kenneth Leslie, Linda Robinson, and Sandra Huff.

David was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Rhonda Lute, and brother-in-law, Douglas Robinson.

Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana are handling arrangements. A graveside service for David will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 1 PM.
