Dauneta McPherson

Dauneta "Tina" M. McPherson, age 70, of Fowlerton, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. Born on February 23, 1955, in Marion, Indiana, to the late Eugene "Gene" and Millious "Mickey" Studebaker, Tina was a vibrant spirit whose life touched many.

Tina's journey was marked by her unwavering dedication and love for family. She married her loving husband, Ronald McPherson, on February 8, 1997, and together they created a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter and cherished memories.

After attending Eastbrook High School, Tina ventured into the professional world and found fulfillment in her work in accounting at Hartson-Kennedy for many years. However, her true passions extended far beyond the office. She was an enthusiastic do-it-yourselfer, often found turning her ideas into reality with remarkable skill. Whether it was sewing, scrapbooking, or working outdoors, Tina's creativity and resourcefulness were boundless. She had a remarkable talent for working on cars, demonstrating her hands-on approach to life.

Tina is survived by her husband, Ronald; children, Marty (Terri) Fincannon, Marion, Brandon (Angie) Mitchell, Converse, Laura (Pat) Maples, Tennessee, and Ross (Christa) McPherson, Marion; grandchildren, LaShea and Marty Fincannon, Jr., Jenni Bridges, Victor Dillon Rodriguez, Lucas, Dylan, Isaac, and Avalin Mitchell, Austin, Adriana, and Ayden Maples, Hailey Bierbaum, Farrah, Ross Noah, and Brynn McPherson, Jaydalin Kelly, and Delilah Skeens; sister, Brenda Cogburn, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Mickey, brother, Mike Studebaker, and her best friend, Joyce.

Tina has left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her. She found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was spending time with her beloved dog or creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Her laughter, warmth, and unwavering spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.

Arrangements for Tina have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where a visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Martin Community Center, 901 South Branson Street, Marion, Indiana 46953.
