Darlene M. Anders

Darlene M. Anders, 84, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion. Darlene was born on December 24, 1934, to the late Clifford and Bertha Louth. On January 3, 1953, she married Charles Gene Anders, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2001. Darlene was an extremely hard worker and worked as a machinist for Anaconda. She was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church for many years, and she enjoyed doing latch hook, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, and just driving around. Darlene is survived by her four children, Ron (Alecia) Anders, Marion, Garland Anders, Marion, Annette (Mitt) Turner, Converse, and Tonya Toni Rush, Marion; brother, Don Louth, Edgerton; sister, Lois (Archie) Terwilleger, Antwerp, OH; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Bertha; husband, Gene; daughter, Pamela Washington; brother, Richard Paul; and sister-in-law, Sharon Louth. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana, where a visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Phil Harris officiating.
