Daisy Fern Rankin

Daisy Fern Rankin, 73, died Sunday, March 13 at her Fairmount, Indiana residence. Daisy was born inPlad, Missouri on July 23, 1942 to the late Lloyd Payne and the late Mila (Guthrie) Payne. She married James A. Rankin on December 30, 1960. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2002. Daisy was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Marion, Indiana. She enjoyed her grandchildren and having coffee with her sister Violet. Daisy is survived by her two children: Linda (Dale) Gibson, Fairmount, Indiana and J.Allen (Louise) Rankin,VanBuren, IN 2 Sisters; VioletMetzger, Fairmount, Indiana and Nadine Williams, Missouri. Grandchildren; Michael CurtisEbbert,Weirton, West Virginia, Brandi NicoleReff, Anderson, Cynthia Marie (Patrick) Hansel,Noblesville, Indiana and Derrick Randall Rankin, Marion, Indiana. Great-Grandchildren: Chase Michael Bergman,LandenReff, Cole Hansel, Payton Hansel, Rory Hansel, and Ian Rankin. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles, Clyde, and Frank. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be immediately following at 3 PM with Rev. Steve Landis officiating. Committal Service will be on Saturday March 19, 2016 at 11 AM at Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of your choice.
