Coy Patton

Coy Lee Patton, 76 of Elm Springs, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home on February 17, 2022. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on August 31, 1945 to Lloyd and Myrtle Patton. Coy was a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, and furthered his education at the University of Arkansas. He spent most of his life working in the Springdale School District. He made a great impression on so many young lives and took care of some like they were his own. Coy was more like a parent and grandparent to many of them. He had the kindest soul and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his infant son, parents and three siblings, Odell, Udell and Billy Joe along with other family members. Coy leaves behind his wife and sweetheart of almost 59 years, Shirley Patton, three sisters and one brother; Mary Jane Gunter, Martha Planck, Dan Patton (Lois), Sharon Eib (Rod) along with many other loved ones.
