Cora J. Martin

Cora J. Martin, 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Cora was born on March 19, 1927, to the late Hershel and Lidie (Bothwell) Martin in Marion, Indiana. Cora was a member of the Friends Church in Fairmount, Indiana. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time at the lakes. She loved playing cards. She was a life memberatthe VFW and the American Legion Post #15. Cora is survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved mini poodle, Coco. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful caregivers that Cora had over the years; Chris, Shea, Tara, Lori, Deb, Pat, Annette, and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings; Marie, Alberta, Irene, Audrey, Helen, Phyllis, Betty, Norma Jean, Nelson, Eugene, and Patty; and her special friend, Judy Boston. Arrangements for Cora have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with Pastor Brock Meyer officiating.
