Claretta Robison

Claretta (Peters) Robison, 79 of Sweetser, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Claretta was born on March 26, 1943 in Noblesville, Indiana, daughter of the late Clifford and Anna (Bell) Peters. She was a graduate of Fairmount High School. She married Terry Robison on May 23, 1965. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2017. Claretta had many jobs throughout her life. She worked at RCA, Wabash Magnetics, Sweetser Market, and then she retired from United Technology in Huntington, Indiana. Claretta could often be seen gardening, canning, and reading. She really loved to do her word searches too. She was involved in the Pleasant Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for over 30 years. She also was a certified E.M.T. for Medic 11. Claretta is survived by her son, Eric Robison of Sweetser and her Daughter Deanna (Rick) Cass of Alexandria; brothers, Raymond (Karen) Peters and George (Louise) Peters, both of Fairmount; two grandchildren, Erin Cass and Riley Cass, of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews. Claretta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, as well as her siblings Vernon Peters and Roberta Peters; sister-in-law Jane Peters; nephew Mark Peters and niece Julie Lamb. Services for Claretta will be held at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Visitation is Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 11-1PM. The funeral service to follow with Pastor Matthew Trexler officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Township Fire Department.
