Charlotte Ann Collins

Charlotte Ann Collins, 76, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Charlotte was born on September 29, 1945, to the late Raymond and Levada Brown. On June 17, 1978, she married Michael Collins, Sr., and he survives. Charlotte graduated with her nursing degree from Vincennes University and worked as a Registered Nurse at the Marion VA Medical Center for 35 years. She was a member of Marion Memorial Tabernacle and she enjoyed helping with the Busy Bees Youth Ministry. Charlotte had quite the musical talent and was great on the piano and trumpet. She also had a beautiful voice and sang in a church trio with Mary-Lynn and Martha. She had a kind spirit and always loved to help people. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Michael, Marion; son, Michael (Deanna), Gas City; step-son, Matthew (Amanda) Taylor, Sweetser; grandchildren, Grace Collins and Emily Collins, Gas City; step-grandchildren, Alexis (Roger) Litton, Aiden Dunning, Madison Taylor, and Eli Taylor; sister, Sarah Alice Brown, Edinburgh; and brothers, Dave (Debbie) Brown, and Phillip (Shirley) Brown, both of Columbus, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Levada; son, Todd Collins; and step-daughter, Stacy Dunning. Arrangements for Charlotte have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana, where a visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Gary Bingham officiating.
