Charles C. Reno

Charles C. Reno, age 78 of Fairmount, passed away on June 2, 2016, at Colonial Oaks Health and Rehab in Marion. He was born on February 24, 1938, in White Pine, Tenn. to the late Howard and late Nettie (Bishop) Reno. On August 28, 1959, Charles married Margaret Seaton, who preceded him in death on January 8, 2012. He was a department manager at Essex BICC, now known as General Cable, where he retired with over thirty years of service. In his free time, Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and being around his grandchildren and great-children. He also will be remembered for the porch swings he made his family. Charles is survived by his children, Roger (Brenda) Reno and Lisa Reno, both of Fairmount; grandchildren, Josh (Heather) Reno, Rachel Reno, Teairah (A.J.) Coffee, Latasha (Kyle Martin) Gabbard, and Dustin (Haley Ring) Reno; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Austin Reno, Tyler, Bryce and Serenity Deeter, Elizabeth, Erika and Abigail Reno, Cambrea and Laykin Lewis, Maya Reno, Kinleigh and Charlie Coffee, Hailey, Hannah and Hayden Sneed; siblings, Earl (Linda) Reneau, of Fairmount, John (Karen) Reneau, of Marion, Roger (Heather) Reneau, of Montpelier, Christine (Tom) Watson, of Fairmount, Billie Jean (Harley) Phipps, of Anderson, and Rosemary Horn, of Scottsburg. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sons, Charles Doug and James Reno. Arrangements for Charles have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5 from 2:00 6:00 pm at the Fairmount Chapel. The funeral service for Charles will take place on Monday, June 6 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Shaver officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana. Contributions made in memory of Charles can be made to the American Diabetes Association, incareof the funeral home.
