Cathy L. Lents

Upland: Cathy L. (Wimmer) Lents, 62, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Hartford City, the daughter of the late Charles and Billie (Stanley) Wimmer. In 1972, she graduated from Eastbrook High School. She later attended Ivy Tech Community College, Marion. She was formerly a Switchboard Operator at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, and had also been employed with 3M, Hartford City. On April 25, 1987, she married Jerry Lents, in Stuart, Florida. Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Jerry Lents, Upland; a brother, Charles "Andy" Wimmer, Upland; a sister, Lisa Roberts, Hartford City; a step-son, Pete (Kristin) Lents; two step-grandchildren, Garrett and Cassidy Lents; a niece, Holly Roberts; and a nephew, Jared Wimmer.
