Carolyn Ann Scheidt

Carolyn AnnScheidt, 77, died Sunday morning, November 18, 2018, in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. She was born in Upland, the daughter of the late George and Alice Elizabeth (Poole) Miller. She was a 1959 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. Carolyn married Leonard DaleScheidton June 11, 1961, in Upland. Mrs.Scheidtwas employed as a Supervisor with Two-Sons Tool, Matthews, for 20 years before her retirement. She was considered the neighborhood mom and the glue that held things together. She enjoyed collecting ceramic dolls clowns and jewelry. She especially loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Leonard DaleScheidt; Children: Leonard Dale L.D.ScheidtII (fiancLoreeHirst), Upland; and Lucinda Linder, Van Buren; a brother: Perry (Dixie) Miller, Hartford City; two sisters: Barbara (Gene) Holm, Florida; and Betty Davis, Warren;grandchildren: Anthony (Stacey)Scheidt, Tennessee;JakobScheidt, Upland; EchoScheidt, Marion; andTawniPlanalp, Van Buren; great grandchildren,Breydonand Alexis; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina KayScheidt; brothers, Bud Miller, Ronald Miller, Donald Miller, and John Miller; and a sister, Linda Ervin. Arrangements were entrusted toArmes-HuntFuneral Home, Jones-Smith Chapel, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana, where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, from4-7pm. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home, with Rev. AlSoultzofficiating.
