Carol F Pearson

Carol F. Pearson, 66, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Colonial Oaks Healthcare in Marion. Carol was born on September 28, 1951, to the late Clarence and Earline (Lowe) Farley in Birmingham, AL. She graduated from Tarrant High School in 1969. Later that year, she married thelove of her life, Doyle Pearson, on October 17, 1969. Carol worked at Channel 55 in Jasper, Alabama, Strawberry PatchAntiques, Coca-Cola Bottling Co., as well as a short time at Kilgore-Greene Funeral Home in Jasper, Alabama. She attended the Marion First Church of the Nazarene here in Marion. Carol enjoyed speaking, quilting, needle point, singing, and songwriting. She collected China and loved Southern Gospel music and enjoyed attending concerts. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle, who passed on June 11, 2013, and is survived by her daughter, Lana (Michael) Dennis, Marion, IN; grandson, Bradley Dennis, Milton, PA; granddaughter, Eva Mae Dennis, Marion, IN; sister, Linda (Greg)Pollak, Helena, MT; three sisters-in-law, Judy (Wayne) Gunter, Carol Thompson, and Gail Pearson; and two brothers-in-law, Terry (Karen) Pearson and Ronnie Pearson. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Local arrangements have been entrusted toArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana. In accordance with Carols wishes, services will be held at Kilgore-Greene Funeral Home on November 14. Contributions made in Carols memory can be made to Marion First Church of the Nazarene.
