Carol E. Clock

Carol E. Clock, 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in Muncie. Carol was born in Blackford County, on July 22, 1943, to the late Ernest and Betty (Ruth) Moriarity. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1961. Carol worked at 3M in Hartford City for 53 years in the receiving department.

Carol was always full of laughter, never knew a stranger, friendly and outgoing, and all who knew her loved her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to rummage sales, collecting antiques, listening to music, going to the races at the Montpelier Speedway, and riding four wheelers in Matthews.

Carol is survived by her brother, Richard (Ardella) Moriarity, Huntington; sister, Arlene Needler, Bluffton; companion, Ronald Clock, Matthews; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Michael) Peterson, Fairmount; Jennifer (Michael) Bailey, Markle; Rodney (Kimberlyn) Moriarity, Mesquite, TX; Troy (Gena) Moriarity, Heath, TX; Brant (April) Moriarity, Bloomington; great-nieces and great-nephews, Mya Peterson, Chloe Bailey, Lily Bailey, Patton Moriarity, Ethan Moriarity, Nick Morgan, Rodney Moriarity Jr, Aaron Moriarity, Rivers Moriarity, Emilee Floyd, and Allisen Lau.

Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Cindy and Nancy Moriarity, and nephew, Colin Moriarity.

Arrangements for Carol have been entrusted to Jones-Smith Chapel Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana 46989, where on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, the family will have a visitation for family and friends from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., a funeral service beginning at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Steve Armes officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Matthews Cemetery, in Matthews, Indiana.
