Cameron J. Freeman, 29, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in Marion. He was born on March 15, 1990, to James Dyson Jr. and Rhonda S. Hodge (Freeman), in Marion, Indiana. Cameron worked at Double H Plastics and formerly worked housekeeping at Marion General Hospital. He attended New Bethany Church of God in Christ, Marion. Cameron enjoyed watching football and basketball and his favorite teams were Notre Dame, the Colts and the Warriors. He enjoyed playing PS4 and spending quality time with his brother and the rest of his family and friends. Cameron will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was truly a fighter from the day he was born till the day that he passed. No matter what he had going on in his life, Cameron was always there to help his momma out in any way possible. He had the biggest heart, and was such a sweet and caring person, he would have given someone the shirt off of his back if they needed it. Cameron did not know a stranger and would talk to anyone. Cameron is survived by his parents, James Dyson Jr., Phoenix, AR and Rhonda (Harold) Hodge, Marion; his brother and sister-in-law, Jaymond (Michalea) Dyson, Muncie; his step-siblings, Luke (Kristion) Hodge, Adam Hodge and Sarah (Shawn) Reason;his paternal grandmother, Berniece Dyson, Marion; his maternal step-grandfather, Billy Berry, Marion; hisstep-grandmother, Margaret Street, Marion; his special aunt Karen Hettig, Gas City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by hisbrotherJameson Freeman and grandparents Joellen Berry, Larry Freeman and James Dyson Sr. Arrangements for Cameron have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., with hisfuneral service beginning at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Matthew Trexler officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made tothe funeral home to help his family offset these unexpected funeral expenses.
