Bryce Allen Henry

Bryce Allen Henry, 17, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Riley Hospital after complications from surgery.

Bryce was born on August 22, 2005, in Marion, Indiana, son of Marcus and Renee (Duckett) Henry. Life was never easy and full of challenges for Bryce from birth, but he was full of life, smart, funny, and ornery. Constantly keeping his family on their toes! Bryce would have been a senior at Mississinewa High School where he loved being a student and loved his teachers. Bryce competed with the Unified Indians basketball and in Special Olympics. He enjoyed riding his bike in the park, music therapy class, watching Big Rig Travels and Cowboy Jack videos on his ipad, and dearly loved his canine companions Pepper and Sampson. He had an art pictures on display at The Bridge in Upland.

Bryce is survived by his parents Marcus and Renee; brothers, Brent and Braden Henry; Grandma Cheryl and Papaw Larry Downam, Jonesboro, and grandparents Cathy and Bennie Myers, Marion; uncles, Kevin (Kayla) Jackson, TX, Jason (Jayne) Henry, Syracuse, Bennie Myers Jr, Marion, Fred Meyers, Marion, and Dave (Melissa Marshall; cousins, Krista, Miranda, Kennedy, Jackson, and Maddie; Great Aunt, Julie Keefer; Aunt, Tammy (Joe) Backs; special friend and teacher Sandy (Ronnie) Dawson, special friend and prom date, Kate Steeley; and special friends, Paula Ricks and Elrie Armes.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Roger and Mary Alice Duckett.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service is Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Merrick Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
