Bryan Southerland

Bryan "Davie" David Southerland II, 42, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, in Marion. Davie was born on March 16, 1982, in Marion, to Bryan "Dave" D. and Elizabeth "Beth" A. Southerland. He graduated from Marion High School Class of 2000. Davie worked at KN Industries, LLC, doing electrical maintenance.

Davie was a smart and thoughtful person. He liked doing things for other people, like going out in the middle of the night and shoveling snow for his mom, family, and friends so they would not have to deal with it when they woke up. He enjoyed watching sports, and was a huge Steelers fan. Davie liked to fish, but most of all he loved to spend time with his kids whenever he was able to.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, H.T. and Jean Southerland, and Nelson and Sheila Young; and his step-mother Dorothy Southerland.

Davie is survived by his parents; children, Violet, Levi, and Lilly Southerland; siblings, Nick (Briana) Southerland, and Stephanie (Vlad Arias) Southerland; nieces, Kamryn Southerland, Jesenia and Islah Arias; and nephews, Noah and Jaxon Southerland.

Arrangements for Davie have been entrusted to the Mississinewa Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 200 North 7th Street, Gas City, Indiana 46933. There will be no services at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Davie to the funeral home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
