Bruce Edward Tobojka, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Bruce was born on July 13, 1949, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to the late Edward and Laura Tobojka. He graduated from Edison High School and then Middlesex College, and then went on to become an Aerospace Engineer for Lockheed Martin Aerospace. He also had worked for Disney World. When Bruce lived in Florida, he attended the Leesburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending his time fishing, hunting, going for golf cart rides, vacationing in the Caribbean, and flying drones. He also was the lead guitarist in the band The Source. In the 1990's, he was a pilot for small airplanes. Bruce was a quiet man who took a while to get to know. But he had such a kind heart and would do anything to help anyone. He was always laid back and humble, and he was just an all-around nice guy.
Bruce is survived by his daughter, Laura (Chad Wouster) Tobojka, Upland; grandsons, Lennon and Brentley Wouster, Upland; step-granddaughter, Jocelyn Wouster, Marion; step-grandson, Maddox Wouster, MI; niece, Heather Nolan-Nasife, PA; and his beloved dog, Oreo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Laura; sister, Linda Nolan; and niece, Holly Petrillo.
Arrangements for Bruce have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana 46989. In accordance with Bruce's wishes, no services will be held.
