Brenda F. Reece

August 15, 1954 — July 25, 2021

Brenda Faye Reece, 66, died Sunday evening, July 25, 2021. She was born August 15, 1954 to the late Eugene and Berneice (Meyers) Stotts and was married the late Roger L. Reece on May 27, 1972. Brenda also graduated from Eastbrook High School with the class of 1972. Brenda worked many years for General Electrics in Upland and Key Plastics in Hartford City before taking time to care for her husband, Roger through his fight with cancer. She was hardworking and selfless, and always put those around her before herself. Brenda loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and supporting her husband's passion for coaching. She enjoyed Labor Day rummaging and always haggled her way to the best deal. In recent years, she was able to meet her two great grandchildren and was overwhelmed with adoration. Brenda loved attending family cookouts and was known for her amazing pasta salad and sugar cream pie recipes. Having had a husband, son, son-in-law, and nephew on the UVFD, it was important to her to listen to the scanner for fire runs and she always prayed for a safe return. Family was incredibly important to her and she valued every minute she could spend with them. Survivors include her children: Roger L. Reece II, Upland; and Crystal (Jason) Robbins, Upland; seven grandchildren: Janessa Peterson, Kiana (Gabriel) Robbins, Justen (Aaliyah) Reece, Allyson (Dylan) Reece; two great grandchildren: Jei Reece and Aiden Shroyer; several nieces and nephews; and pup Benji. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters: Betty Gose, Ida Stephens, Loretta Ginter, Sandy Comer, Karen Joseph; brother Frank Stotts and brother-in-law Tom Joseph Sr. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 259 N. Main St, Upland, where a visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Friday, July 30, 2021. There will be no funeral service.
