Branden Wayne Behr

Branden Wayne Behr, 52, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, after injuries sustained in an accident. Branden was born on October 23, 1970, to the late Terry Behr and Darlene Behr, who survives in Fairmount. He graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1989. He worked for the Union as a dump truck driver, but when asked what he did for a living or what he was doing, he would always respond with "Building America" or "Hauling Earth". Branden enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, or riding horses. He loved listening to music while watching the sunset. He had a special bond with his dog, Dakota, and he would even take her to work with him.

Branden is survived by his mother, Darlene; sons, Blake (Hannah), Anderson, Austin, Ubana, Ohio, and Tanner (Jasmine Lange) Behr, Indianapolis; daughter, Madison Behr, Lutz, Florida; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Wayne, Colten, Liam, Rory, Alinor, and Ivar; cousin, Shannon Moorehead, Fairmount; brother, Tyler Behr, Marion; step-mother, Tina Behr; and his dog, Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry; brother, Chad Behr; uncle, Randy Sprong; and granny, Mabel Stevens.

Arrangements for Branden have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where a visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Neal officiating.
