Bobby Earcel Clark

Bobby Earcel Clark, 82, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home. He was born on June 13, 1939, to the late Albert and Opal Clark. He graduated from Olive Hill High School in Kentucky, and then earned his Mortuary Science degree from Mid-America College of Funeral Service. He worked as an embalmer in Kentucky, and occasionally for local mortuaries when his services were requested. He was a mechanic at Northside 76 along with his brother Donald. On August 11, 1975, he married Sally Bell, and she survives. They celebrated 46 years of marriage this month. Working on vehicles was one of Bobby's favorite things to do. He also enjoyed hunting, NASCAR racing, auctions, and bargaining with people. He especially loved being with his family. He thoroughly enjoyed teasing and aggravating his friends and family, and then laughing about it. Bobby is survived by his wife, Sally; daughters, Leslie (Joe) Rigsby, Donna (Daniel) Johnston, and Kristi Roberson; sons, Rob (Diana) Roberson, and Brad (Lori) Roberson; brothers, Donald (Shirley) Clark, Gary Clark, Charles (Carolyn) Clark, and Darrell (Gail) Clark; fifteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Opal; brother, Earl Clark; and sister, Bonnie Cruellar. Arrangements for Bobby have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., at Eastview Wesleyan Church, 414 North 10th Street, Gas City, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Atkinson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Jefferson Cemetery in Upland. Everyone in attendance will be required to wear masks to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Contributions may be made to Eastview Wesleyan Church.
