Robert H. Taylor, 77, of Fairmount, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital.

Robert was born on January 15, 1945 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Harold Taylor and the late Dorotha M. (Betts) Story. Robert graduated from Fairmount High School in 1964. He worked in production at Delphi of Anderson, retiring in 2002 after 37 1/2 years. Robert was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Anderson and was a World War II buff. He enjoyed watching World War II movies, visiting and touring ships, aircraft carriers and airplanes while on vacation. He loved his family, old music, was generous to a fault, and loved trying to stump his wife with car trivia.

Surviving are Robert's wife Aneta, of nearly 35 years, daughters, Angie (Bryan) Mayes, Bedford, and Mandy (Chris) Roby, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Josh Roby, Fort Wayne, and Ashley (Mike) Stevens, Elletsville; brothers, Donald (Rita) Taylor, Hensley, AR, and Jack (Patricia) Story, Venice, FL.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Dorotha, along with step-parents, Helene Taylor and Robert Story; and his son Robert William Taylor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where services will be Saturday, December 3, 2020. Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 PM with the funeral service at 1 PM with Pastor Gary Woodring officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion.
