Billie Jean Harrison

Upland: Billie Jean Harrison, 81, passed peacefully Saturday afternoon, February 11, 2017, in Wesleyan Health and Rehabilitation Center, Marion. She was born at home in Upland to the late Coronellia and James Harrison. Billie was a retired nursing assistant from the VA Medical Center and pastor of Old Time Methodist Church, both in Marion. Billie had a comical sense of humor and enjoyed puzzles, watching horse races and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Winter was her favorite time of year and butterscotch pie her favorite dessert. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Hamer, Marilee Pinkleton and Teresa Pinkleton; a son, William Dean Pinkleton; a brother, Michael Harrison; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
