Beverly L. Kosel

Beverly L. Kosel, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Marion, Indiana. Mrs. Kosel was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on November 24, 1933, to the late Waldo and Pearl (Crooks) Barton. Beverly graduated from Marion High School in 1951. She worked at Lindley Box & Paper Company after graduating. In 1957, she started working at the then Fisher Body Division in Marion until retirement in 1987. In 1969, Beverly married Helmut "Al" Kosel. They were married 44 years until his death in 2014. They spent some time during the winter in Florida and traveled to Europe. Beverly enjoyed crocheting and looking at her many pictures of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always was glad to be with her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly was always a generous person. She continued that generosity by becoming a tissue donor after her passing.

Survivors include: daughters, Michelle (Mike) Price, of Jonesboro, and Janice (Lynn) Boshers, Shelbyville, TN; sister, Judy Wright, Marion, along with niece Desi Clouser who is like a daughter; grandchildren, Dr. Barton (Dr. Kasey) Price, Derek (Jess) Price, Christen (Matt) Stebing, Courtney Herring, Kristen (Chad) Segroves, Kevin (Brandi) Rogers, Wesley (Kyra) Kosel, and Clayton and Austin Becker; great-grandchildren, Ansley and Benton Segroves, Addison and Liam Stebing, Theodore and Ruby Price, Caroline and Meredith Price, Aiyana and Noah Rogers, Naomi, Ericha Grace, Sawyer, and Oliver Kosel, and Tobias and Zeddicus Becker; nieces, Sue and Terri; nephews, Mike from Florida, and Marc, Mel, and Marty (Rachel) Clouser; son-in-law, David (Karen) Herring; daughter-in-law, Beth Kosel; and great-nieces, cousins, and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Al; parents, Waldo and Pearl; daughter, Pamela Herring; son, Erich Kosel; sister, Patricia (Jim) Riley; two great-grandchildren, Harrison and Callahan Price; brother-in-law, Don Wright; and great-nephew, Zach Clouser.

Arrangements for Beverly have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Barton Price officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
