Bernadine "Bobbie" Brankle

Bernadine "Bobbie" Brankle, 91, died Wednesday afternoon, June 15, 2022, at Heritage Pointe, in Warren. She was born on September 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Ralph and Wilma Phillabaum. Bobbie graduated from Marion High School in 1948. She married the love of her life, Donald "Bud" Brankle, on November 4, 1951. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2020. Bobbie worked as the bookkeeper for her husband's construction company, Bud Brankle Construction, for many years. Bobbie is survived by her daughters, Andra (Gary) McIntyre, Fort Wayne, and Kyle (Jeff) Gall, Upland; grandsons, Brent Gall, Van Buren, and Brandon Gall, Upland; and sisters, Bernita Pearson, Marion, and Ermajean Shaw, Fort Myers, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Wilma; husband, Bud; and brothers-in-law, Jim Pearson and Jim Shaw. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana, where a visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 21. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Dale Schuiteman officiating. Burial will take place at Jefferson Cemetery.
