Anthony R. Crouse

Anthony R. "Tony" Crouse, 57, died Thursday morning, August 5, 2021, in his residence. He was born on October 14, 1963 in Marion, the son of the late Roger Crouse and Donna (Boyd) Swetnam. Tony was a production worker with State Plating, Elwood. He enjoyed racing of all kinds, especially NASCAR and loved to watch the Indianapolis Colts. Survivors include his sisters, Teresa (Doug) Meeks, Upland, Cathy (Jimmy) Purvis, Marion, Vickie (Scott) Krill, Ossian, and Vina Edington, MI; brother, David (Kim) Swetman, Fowlerton; step-mother, Wilma Crouse, Swayzee; a son, Cody Crouse, Marion; one grandson; caregiver and friend, Jackie Oliver; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 259 N. Main St, Upland, where a visitation will be held from 2-3 pm, Friday, August 13, 2021. A funeral service will be at 3:00 pm, with Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow in Atkinson Cemetery, Upland. Memorial contributions may be made to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
