Andy Petty

Ronald Andrew "Andy" Petty of Jonesboro, Indiana passed away on September 17, 2022. Andy was born June 22, 1973, in Anderson, Indiana, to the late Ronald L. Petty and Joan (Roger) Turner.

Andy was a Certified HVAC Technician for Custom Comfort for 30 years. He graduated from Madison Grant High School in 1991. Andy enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle, grilling/ cooking dinners for his family, and spending time with his dogs Tobi and Delilah. Andy was a hardworking man with a loving and giving spirit and well known for his sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by many.

Andy is survived by his fiancé, Debra "Debbie" Wallen, of Jonesboro; mother, Joan (Roger) Turner, of Jonesboro; son, Marcus "Landon" (Wendy) Petty, of Anderson; two sisters. Beth Ann (Jaramie) Alcala, of Fairmount, Indiana, and Shawnel (Travis) Rish, of Jonesboro; brother, Joe Turner, Marion; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Petty; brother, Anthony L. Petty; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Petty and maternal grandparents, Archie and Nancy Smith.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, where friends may call on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the funeral home with Gary Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
