Ronald Ron Walter Farnum, 72, passed away on November 1, 2019, in Marion, Indiana, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Pine River, MN, on October 6, 1947. Ron served for 25 years with World Gospel Mission. Fifteen of those years as a pilot of Wings of Peace in Bolivia, S.A. After returning to the U.S., he continued serving as a pastor and a hospital chaplain. Throughout Rons life, he lived in many places, but he was most at home flying a plane. Ron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bernice (Waite) Farnum; children, Jim (Samantha) Farnum and Sandra (Brad) Metzger; grandchildren, Travis, Ty, Taden, Alexa, Ethan, and Cierra; siblings, Lowell Farnum, Audrey Kellogg, Marcella Jenson and Alma Douglas; and many other family members and friends who will miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Verna (Wild) Farnum; his sisters, Ethyl Caperton and Darlene Sand. A celebration of Rons life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. at White Rock Fellowship, 21070 Schully Road, Noblesville, Indiana 46062.
