Margaret 'Peggy' Joanne Williams

Margaret Peggy Joanne Williams, 76, Fairmount, Indiana died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Peggy was born on June 16, 1941 in Alexandria, IN, daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Atkinson) Bangle. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1960 and married Harold Williams on March 24, 1961 in Denver, Colorado. Peggy was a homemaker and worked at Fairmount Wire for 18 years. Peggy was a caregiver and loved taking care of her family. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 313. Peggy enjoyed bowling, fishing and camping when she was younger. She loved to make pumpkin bread and going to the casino. Peggy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harold of Fairmount, IN. Children; Candy (Darren) Nelson of Delphi, Indiana, Harold Williams Jr, of Jupiter, Florida, Sandra Williams, Fairmount,Indiana and Charles (Jo-ell) Williams of Milan, Indiana. Brother, Rick (Peg) Bangle, Fairmount, Indiana, Sister, Jeannie Medina, Portage, Indiana, sister-in-law, Linda Bangle,Summitville, Indiana and half-sister, ElizabethOvercash, Cleveland, North Carolina, 8 grandchildren: RobertDeHaven, Casey Williams, Carey (Tim) Ragsdale, James Nelson, Brittany Nelson,Breana(Jake)Chenoweth, Austin Williams, andKaitlynWilliams, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Lester Bud Bangle. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, IN where there will be a visitation Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 12-2 PM with funeral service following at 2 PM. with Dr. Clint Myersofficiating. An American Legion Service will be just prior to the funeral service at 2 PM.Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana Memorial contributions may be made to the Family in care of the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
