Joseph M Leveritt

Joseph M. Leveritt, 61, passed away on December 23, 2022, in Marion. Joseph was born in Greenwood, Indiana, on August 14, 1961, to the late John M. and Linda L. (Dill) Leveritt. He was an Air Force Veteran and served for 11 years. Joseph was a one-of-a-kind poker dealer. He worked at Hollywood Casino and Hotel in Lawrenceburg. Joseph was so good at dealing poker that he was blessed to deal for The World Series of Poker, in Las Vegas, Nevada, twice. He enjoyed playing cards. Joseph liked to drive and travel, he liked going to the warm places with a beach the best, and his favorite place to visit was Phoenix, AZ.

Joseph is survived by his children, Jackie (Robert) Chaney, Paoli; Jason Leveritt, Interlachen, FL; and Shelby (Nick) Reynolds, Marion; grandchildren, Joshua and Isaiah Chaney, Paoli; brother, John Mark (Jana) Leveritt II, Las Vegas, NV; and Timothy Leveritt, TX; and step-mother, Jewel Leveritt, Jefferson City, MO.

He was Preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Linda L. (Dill) Leveritt; and grandparents, Francis "Bud" and Juanita Doan.

Arrangements for Joseph have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. There are no services.
